According to a new report from Cogent Syndicated, advisors and asset managers are increasing the use of alternative investments and expanding their range of offerings through new products and platform access. Data from the report show that advisors anticipate increasing their allocation to alternatives from 7% to just under 10% within two years. Fleets are slowly but surely progressing toward a technology-driven future. According to new findings from our Fleet Advisory Hub study, the Fleet Technology Index—an industry metric that indicates market readiness and expectation for adoption of forward-looking fleet technologies—has increased by 39% from an index score of 21.4 in 2020 to 29.7 in 2024. This means that, with drivers returning to the wheel and sales rebounding to pre-pandemic levels, fleet decision-makers are increasingly evaluating which fleet technologies—such as data analytics, telematics and AI—will best fit their business needs and objectives. On the other hand, our study also reveals an 8% year-over-year decline in BEV interest, reflecting a consistent pattern of shifting attitudes and intentions toward the adoption of BEVs among fleets.
