Another whirlwind month of projects — count 'em, 4 transformations AND even more resource distributions! We partner with Abbvie's Week of Possibilities program, where we've continued our tradition of collaborating on transformative initiatives that enrich education across the United States. Every student deserves to feel valued. We strive to empower young learners by creating vibrant hubs for learning and creativity, embracing educational potential with every design choice. It is so important that students’ learning spaces actively reflect their worth as independent thinkers and future agents of change. #educationequity

Exciting new milestone for RAM Auto Show! I started RAM (Rehmann and Mendoza) Auto Show back in 2020 with my buddy Simon Mendoza. We had a dream, a grocery store parking lot, and a hand drawn logo. We faced a huge challenge of creating this event during peak COVID years, but we were committed to sharing our passion for cars with our community. We have seen the show grow considerably over the last four years, and this year I am excited to say we are partnering with the City of Winsted and a local sponsor to initiate a new program: Car Rides for Kids. Car Rides for Kids will be a fun community fundraising event where attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for rides in supercars. All proceeds will be donated to our chosen organization Heart of America Heart of America is an incredible organization that provides resources and redesigned STEAM lab spaces for kids to grow and flourish in their educational environments. Exciting and engaging education for kids is something that is very close to our hearts, and we can't wait to contribute to the mission! Thursday's event (special guest: CRUNCH) was a slam dunk! We deeply appreciate the incredible energy and support that helped bring this project to life. A heartfelt thank you to our partners, #NBACares and the Minnesota Timberwolves, for joining forces with us in the fight to rebalance educational inequities across the US. #CommunitySupport

Today, the sun will set at 8.39pm in Chinle, Arizona. That’s a lot of sunlight! But not every day is #summersolstice. Our solar project, Skip the Grid, alongside SOLV Energy, Nextracker Inc. and GOAL ZERO helps bring power to multiple districts across Navajo Nation. It brings renewable energy to homes, offering essential electricity where it's needed most. This effort empowers individuals long after sunset, enabling continued learning and creativity, and helping bridge the education gap experienced by rural indigenous communities. As the days get darker, let's not forget the awesome impact of #SolarEnergy!

We are so blown away by the amazing effort, support and love that went into making this Mini-Pitch come to life. The “Sts’ailes Strong” Mini-Pitch is dedicated to Terry Felix who is from the Sts’ailes nation. It is an honour to celebrate all of his achievements with the Sts’ailes community. This Mini-Pitch is also FIRST in the WORLD! that is also ball hockey friendly, designed with a new prototype. This Mini-Pitch has the ability to host soccer, basketball and ball hockey games. Thank you firstly to the Sts’ailes nation for allowing us the honour of bringing the Mini-Pitch into your community. We are so excited to watch the youth grow and become the next Terry Felix’s! We cannot wait to hear of all the stories and laughs that come from this Mini-Pitch. We believe good energy has a ripple effect. For more than five years, we've prioritized expanding energy and education equity in communities in the Navajo Nation through partnerships with education-focused non-profits like Heart of America and local schools, and with support from partners like Nextracker Inc. and GroundWork Renewables. Learn more about the ongoing commitment we've made through the Skip the Grid project and check out photos from our spring 2024 trip on the SOLV Energy blog. #goodenergy https://lnkd.in/gnWqtmcP
