Points of Light reposted this
An inspiring couple of days at the America250 gathering of US states and territories talking about how we will commemorate and celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday. So excited for Points of Light to serve as a national resource partner for the America Gives project. Together along with state commissions and partners across the country we will ignite the spirit of volunteering and demonstrate the impact on individuals, communities and our society. Did you know that the USA will celebrate its 250th birthday in 2026? About 1/3 of Americans are aware. It’s an opportunity to commemorate and celebrate the birth of our democracy. And an opportunity to acknowledge all of the progress we have made and all of the work still left to do to ensure our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. #America250

👏 We're immensely proud to witness the transformative impact made by Target team members who volunteered their time and talents to support our Global Network affiliate, Chicago Cares, and the Chicago community! #TargetVolunteers #TargetLovesCommunity
The true power of service is not the result of any one specific project; it is the journey that volunteers and companies take, in partnership with community, that leads to big, bold commitments. Thank you, Target, for joining us in taking bold collective action to transform an overgrown lot into a vibrant community hub! Stay tuned this week to see how we practice civic love with the North Lawndale community!

👏 We are thrilled to recognize the remarkable impact our Corporate Partner Eastman is making in the communities they serve!
For the second year, members of the Mexico chapter of Mosaic, Eastman’s Resource Group for Latino and Hispanic team members and their allies, organized a toy drive for kids with cancer. They collected and delivered more than 200 toys for the non-profit Asociación Mexicana de Ayuda a Niños con Cáncer, IAP, which provides free and comprehensive support services to underprivileged children and teens battling cancer. Thanks to all who participated for spreading a little joy and hope to these courageous kids!
