On June 26, Grand Peaks hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Mayor Mike Johnston, to celebrate the grand opening of the new Skyline at Highlands multifamily community and the launch of a special collaboration with the Denver Public Schools Foundation. As part of the celebration, Grand Peaks announced that 10 Skyline at Highlands apartments will be donated to DPS teachers, with Grand Peaks providing a one-year, rent-free lease for all 10 teachers! We think that's pretty awesome! https://lnkd.in/gup5vcNF

University of Colorado Boulder has been awarded a $20 million grant to launch a facility known as the National Quantum Nanofab (NQN). In this facility, Colorado researchers and quantum specialists from around the country can design and build incredibly small devices that tap into the world of atoms and photons. According to Principal Investigator Scott Diddams, professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, it will take about five years to build the facility: a clean room and nanofabrication tools housed in a new annex to the Sustainable, Energy and Environment Laboratory (SEEL) building on CU Boulder’s East Campus. https://lnkd.in/gyAjNB7b #CONSTRUCTION #DEVELOPMENT #ENGINEERING #TECHNOLOGY
