More than 100 Years of Building Great Futures
About us
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City has served as a leader in youth development programming and advocacy efforts for urban youth for more than a century. The Clubs provide access to life-changing programs, resources, opportunities and experiences in safe, secure environments to the young people who need us the most on a daily basis. Nearly 1,000 young people walk through our of our five Club sites every day and we serve nearly 8,000 unduplicated members annually. The Clubs are truly a beacon of hope in some of our community’s toughest neighborhoods. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City is to promote the development of self-esteem, values, and skills for boys and girls, ages 5-18, with special emphasis on youth from disadvantaged circumstances. The vision of the organization is to be the leader in providing developmental opportunities for significant numbers of youth. Our strategic vision is to assist Kansas City’s children and youth to live out their greatest dreams through the development of skills and competencies and keep 100% of active Club members on track for high school graduation with post-secondary plans. In order to achieve this vision, we have established a comprehensive, year-round educational focus for our programming. The blueprint we’ve created allows for all of our programmatic endeavors to build off one another in a specific, intentional manner. This Whole Child organizational approach enables us to support and supplement educational enrichment activities while also building life skills in more traditional youth development frameworks. Youth development programming offered by the Clubs fits within four core areas: Healthy Lifestyles, Education & Careers, Technology, and Public Speaking & Leadership. For more information about the Clubs, as well as donor and volunteer information, please visit our website at www.helpkckids.org or find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/helpKCkids.

🏆 Knock it out of the park with us! 🏆 Join us in supporting our Royals RBI Regional teams and help empower the next generation of champions from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City! 🌟 We’re thrilled to be sending two baseball teams and, for the second year in a row, one softball team to Chicago for the RBI Regionals Tournament from July 18-20. This is an incredible opportunity for our young athletes to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience on a larger stage. For many, it’s their first time traveling to play ball! ⚾️🥎 However, the rising cost of transportation, chartering buses, hotel accommodations, and meals for our athletes is higher than expected. That's where we need YOUR help! Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Please consider supporting our Royals RBI teams on their journey to Chicago by making a gift today! 🙏💙 GIVE NOW! 👉https://ow.ly/ukgz50Syl5M Feel free to share this link with your friends, colleagues, and neighbors and encourage them to support our teams. Together, we can ensure these talented young athletes have the opportunity to play ball and represent Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and Royals RBI. Thank you for your support! 🏅 #SupportOurRoyalsRBITeams #NextGenChampions #BGCGKC #ChicagoBound #GiveBack #helpkckids #greatfutures
