Thank you to the Department of the Air Force Technology Transfer and Transition - DAFT3 for the shoutout and highlighting some of the great work that our Gunslingers are doing on a daily basis throughout the wing! Big thanks to our technology transfer team, Matthew Daniels and Anthony Maybrier, for their ability to bring forth new ideas that foster critical educational partnerships throughout the wing! For the first time in a decade, they established three Education Partnership Agreements (EPAs) with local academic institutions, bridging the gap between science, mathematics, engineering education, and real-world application. Through these EPAs, 67th Cyberspace Wing scientists and engineers are making a profound impact by co-teaching STEM lessons, mentoring students, and sharing their expertise. They're enriching educational environments with high-quality knowledge and real-world projects, enhancing opportunities that wouldn't otherwise be available. Congratulations to our May Gunslinger of the Month....SrA Jaleel Thornton from the 39th IOS! One of our 1D7 Airmen, he filled the warehouse manager position for the squadron and ensured the timely upgrade of equipment for classrooms increasing overall student capacity by 25%. He also ensures the protection and functionality of 30 million dollars worth of equipment across multiple networks on a daily basis. We appreciate all you do, SrA Thornton, for the squadron and our Wing! 💥 Light 'em Up 💥
