In 2018, the Senate Intelligence Committee introduced a bipartisan resolution designating July 26th, as United States Intelligence Professionals Day to honor the courage and dedication of our service members of the U.S. Intelligence Community and to thank our Intelligence Officers, past and present, for their service and professionalism in protecting our national security. The 26th of July holds a significant place in the history of U.S. intelligence, commemorating the date when President Harry S. Truman signed the groundbreaking National Security Act of 1947. This Act established the framework for our nation's modern intelligence community, leading to the establishment of crucial agencies like the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), and others that continue to play a vital role in preserving our democratic principles and ensuring our national security. As quiet professionals within the 67th Cyberspace Wing, your work holds not only a profound significance for our team but is also crucial to the security of our Nation and our partners around the globe.
