Last month, we responded to National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)'s request for information (RFI) on dual-use artificial intelligence (AI) models. In our submission, we highlighted the importance of learning from existing open source software security work and promoting responsible open foundation model. We continue to emphasize sustainable contributions back to the open source ecosystem, applying the same principle to open source AI. 👉Read our blog by Aeva Black, CISA’s Section Chief for Open Source Security, and Jack Cable, Senior Technical Advisor highlighting our response to NTIA’s RFI and our perspective on open source AI models: https://go.dhs.gov/36r 👉Learn more about our work in OSS Security: https://go.dhs.gov/36z
