The stories are not very original but I am glad I read them. This book has awoken in me more interest towards anthologies and short stories. I can see now that there are moments when I am more in the mood for little stories that can be easily and quickly read than starting a whole new book.
1 - Pack by Jeaniene Frost - 3 stars This story was the simplest of the three and looking back, very basic, perhaps, even a bit lazy. However, the writing style kept me entertained and wanting more. Of the 3 short stories, this one is the one I would definitely like to read as a full novel. I love this author and everything she writes. I absolutely recommend her UF seres Night Huntress. The first 4 books are a 5 stars for me.

However, and contrary to popular opinion, this one is the one I enjoyed the least. I think that my problem with it was the writing style. Some of the way the information was given made me get distracted with other things and I even skimmed some sentences here and there because I didn’t care for that information. I can see myself easily bored if this was a full length book. This kind of writing doesn’t keep my attention, which it is a shame, since the plot and story in general is interesting....more
