The old river “Morgon” crosses my city under the ground. On the right, we can see the name of the street on the surface... so funny and mysterious too.

On our walk by the river Don at Persley in Aberdeen, Scotland, where my parents live, it was a sunny day and the reflections on the water were superb and fascinating. I spotted this little whirlpool at a little dam of rocks.

Does this crystal water know it's about to join the silt-laden river?

Finally a Monster High doll after all those Disney dolls. ^^

Medina River Natural Area & Greenway

The annual River City Classics car show, an epic way to end southern Alberta's car show season, almost 1,100 cars...

When completed in 2001, this high level bridge was the largest incrementally launched bridge in the Southern Hemisphere with horizontal and vertical curves. It was built as an alternative to the old low level Woronora Bridge, to eliminate the steep descents and ascents for traffic between southern Sydney suburb of Sutherland and the western Sydney suburb of Menai. There is a public walkway on the bridge located just underneath the road, for bicycle riders and pedestrians. The path can be accessed from Menai Road on the Bangor side and Prince Edward Park Road or River Road on the Sutherland side.

A lot of water activities, such as canoeing take place here on the Woronora River in Sutherland Shire.

Shot from Nagara bridge 15 minutes before sunrise. Hard to believe but it started raining 20 minutes later. I like the long exposure and will go back to try something longer. I like how motion is visible in the river but would like to try again with more clouds, wind, and a longer exposure.

View of the Jordan River, Great for Kayaking and Canoing. Makes for a great day or afternoon trip.

Nice shot looking up the River Taff to the Millennium Stadium in showery weather

The Upper Klamath River boasts some of the best whitewater rafting in Oregon. The rapids are rated at class III, IV and V, depending on water levels, and experienced guides are recommended.

There are several local rafting outfitters that are permitted to run the Upper Klamath River, which flows from the lake with the same name southwest into California. The BLM office in Klamath Falls can provide more information on rafting outfitters: 541-883-6916.

Eleven miles of the river are designated as Wild and Scenic.

The Klamath River is one of only three rivers that bisect the Cascade Mountain Range, flowing from the high-desert interior through coastal rain forest to the Pacific Ocean, according to Rivers.gov.

The river flows through a beautiful and remote canyon lined with pine and oak trees, and is also well known for all sorts of outdoor pursuits, like fishing, camping, hiking and biking!

Late summer day at Pine Tree Brook in Milton, MA

I would highly recommend taking a river ride on your visit to Chicago. It's a great way to view the city.

There are quite a few homeless people in Tokyo (though not nearly as many as in San Francisco, for example). Many of them live in the city parks or along the riverbank.

Bright fall colours reflected on the Credit River.

Anca caught some pretty cool flare here. :)
