May be no sun but plenty of winter colours.

It's been pretty horrible weather in the UK over the past few weeks, rather reflected in the images I've put up here, tending to be B&W, however I have resolved to have a 'colour weekend' so here we have Portsmouth, in colour, in 7 images

This image made the front cover of Essex Life a few years ago.....made me happy seeing it on the shelf..lol..:))

Here is one way to reduce a picture to its essential elements. In this case it is light and colour.

The beautiful and very colourful bathing boxes at Brighton beach which looked amazing in the early evening light last night.

A big thank you to my Flickr friend Laszlo for another great photography outing!

If you were curious as to how my tiger in B/w looked in colour well here it is.

My torch of light, ethereal and eternal reference where I end up when water under my feet disappears, revealing only barren land without justice or meaning, pitcher to which I sing and tell secrets, desires, rages and the fear of that voracious, icy and implacable darkness.

Another day, another leaf tuned. Fallen Colour is a series celebrating and documenting autumnal leaves once they have left the tree. Focus stack of 12 images.

This work uses the same collection of leaves as fallen colour 68.

Just so calm and friendly.

Most of the colour is on the ground come November, but some trees are still holding leaves.

A flipped photo from a waterfall walk yesterday! The water was crystal clear so made for some nice reflective photos :)

Took this on a stroll home with the family, it was the first hot day of our little break and I wanted to capture the iconic beach front villas.

Some colour in the dried gras.

Hannover/Townhall,Germany

Last year the "Klassik open air" in hannover had to be cancelled. This year there will be two free open air events again this weekend. The city hall of the state capital will be presented in the most beautiful colours. Arias and duets from various operas will be performed.

Not only a treat for the ears.

Hannover is UNESCO City of Music.

It is a gorgeous day and so much green which I love, but I just need some colour! This is a Crepe Myrtle tree beside the house.

Hope you are well wherever you are! :-))
