Lack of a building permit doesn't stop urban Europeans from doing what you need to do.

There are two rows of these new, Maritimely coloured houses in a little 'subdivision' near downtown, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Fredericton is the capital of the province of New Brunswick, and around an hour's drive from St. John. I was feeling a bit yecky all day, but we had a great time walking around old Fredericton. We crossed the same bridge 4 times, after accidentally crossing it over the St. John River. lol A very long bridge, and actually, not a bad drive, but, I would have been satisfied crossing it only once. lol Lots to see along the river in Fredericton.

Just doodling....

Wishing you all a Magical Monday!

And thanks for your visit!

Thank you for your viewing and favouring my photographs.

I know what you're saying, this guy's done loads of autumn photos, when's he going to do something different. Well, while the colours are out there then I'm going to be there taking photos. It'll all be over soon, the colours will all have gone for another year.

The blues band that I play in called "Dirty Laundry" will be playing right around the corner in a week. Art is music to the soul. It sings in so many ways.

Happy Saturday my artistic friends

Even though we are now in Winter, there is still a bit of Autumn colour around the neighbourhood. I am pretty sure that this is a Crepe Myrtle, although I didn't realise that their leaves changed colour during the cooler months.

I found it hard to resist the shape of this old tree with the most fantastic autumnal background. Taken in the gorge of Corra Linn, Lanark, wildlife reserve in the peak of autumn, where the colour hanging over the stone verge is breathtaking.

Another from an interesting high tide, just after dawn, yesterday. The waves breaking against the sea wall and soaking the colourful Chalets or Beach Huts.

A splash of Spring from this Crocus in macro.

This was my entry for our Wakering Photography Group 16” X 12” printed challenge, the theme being “Colour Splash”.

I think an orange coloured golf ball would have been more striking, sadly I didn’t have one of the same make in my stock so yellow had to suffice.

Part of the "Colour of Life" series

I planned a wild camp up on Stanage Edge late last night and to catch the sunset. I was late arriving and the sun had virtually disappeared behind yet another huge bank of cloud!

The light had all but gone but one thing I've learned in Landscape Photography is to be patient and even when the suns dropped below the horizon, the sky can erupt in colour well after its set! Last night was one of those moments!
