Nervure de voûtes du déambulatoire et fenêtres hautes à l'abside de l'église rebâtie vers 1230-1250 par les Cisterciens installés là en 1129.
La catedral nueva de Cádiz, construida en el siglo XVIII, tenía un especial propósito: conseguir que sus torres fuesen más altas que la Giralda de Sevilla. Tal era su ego que derribaron casas que existían a su alrededor para poder disponer de una amplia plaza desde la que pudiese divisarse en todo su esplendor.
Sin embargo, la economía se vino a menos y su deseo no pudo ser cumplido, terminaron las obras como buenamente pudieron y las torres midieron aproximadamente la mitad de lo que fuese su intención inicial, (lo que no la hace valer menos, desde luego).

Amersfoort kent in haar geschiedenis twee ommuringen. De eerste muur werd gebouwd tussen eind 13de eeuw (na het verkrijgen van stadsrechten in 1259) en begin 14de eeuw. De tweede muur werd gebouwd in de periode 1380-1451. Op de plaats van de eerste stadsmuur werden 'muurhuizen' gebouwd, met delen en losse stenen van de eerste muur.

Amersfoort has in its history two enclosures. The first wall was built between the late 13th century (after being granted city status in 1259) and early 14th century. The second wall was built in the period 1380-1451. At the site of the first city wall were 'wall houses' built with parts and loose stones from the wall first.

Art Deco downtown, the Strong Building which was built in 1930. The Strong Building was built in 1923 and has served as an office building in Beloit, Wisconsin. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places primarily due to its Art Deco architecture. It is located at 400 Grand Ave. Was also a Bank.

We had a early morning wander around Aldeburgh on Sunday and the light coming from this shelter really caught my eye.

I recently visited Chedoke Estate, a wonderful historic home that now belongs to the city. What an incredible place this must have been to live, with a spectacular view of the city below ...
I think every pet that ever lived here is buried in this little courtyard garden beside this door, what a lovely spot to rest
Vorgestern Abend habe ich mir gedacht. Juchu es ist schlechtes Wetter ;D da muss ich raus. Hoffentlich traut sich keiner raus ^^.
Dem war dann auch weitestgehend so. Diesmal habe ich mich unter anderem auf dem Gendarmenmarkt Berlin herumgetrieben. Das Konzerthaus wird mit wunderschönen Motiven angestrahlt doch mir haben es die Figuren vor dem Eingang des Konzerthaus Berlin angetan. Interessant wurde das ganze noch dadurch das ein großer Teil des Gendarmenmarkt Berlin von riesigen Strahlen ausgeleuchtet wurden, anscheinend wurde hier gerade ein Film gedreht. Links im Bild könnt ihr den Deutscher Dom in prachtvollen Farben sehen.
Das Bild ist diesmal düster gehalten da es doch auch recht düster war. Ich hoffe es gefällt euch. Ich habe hier mal eine andere Entwicklung als sonst üblich eingesetzt.
