Back to TopDelicious and super easy! I used jarred Queen Spanish olives jarred Kalamata olives, and a can of black olives. It was delicious and had many compliments. Saved leftovers for a get-together the next evening. It needed a bit more olive oil, so I added a little garlic powder to olive oil and heated them up in the oven... it was even better. I will make this again. Bonus, bread dip, I served with ciabatta bread for dipping on the second night.

This did not work out for me. We found the olives too oily to enjoy and didn't get much flavor. Oh well, moving on...

These look gorgeous. I had some at a restaurant last week which were so good that I had to look up how to make them. I'd like to give them as gifts. Can they be made ahead and stored? And if so, how far in advance?

I've made this recipe several times and always, always get rave reviews from our guests. This recipe is simple and the olives are bursting with flavor. As an additional suggestion for the leftover seasoned olive oil, we like to use if for bread dipping. So delicious!

I made these for 2 parties now and they're a hit. The warm olives come right off the pits. Delicious and easy to make.

The lemon peel, spice and heating give ordinary olives enough pizzazz to make this a gourmet appetizer. And guests don't mind being offered the same appie over and over again.
