YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, known online as MrBeast, plans to expand his business with two new ventures next year.

Donaldson, 26, is working on growing his sprawling business empire with a mobile game and a beverage brand, according to court documents. Both businesses aim to launch in 2025.

Direct-to-consumer brands have become popular for some content creators looking to grow their businesses. Launching companies can help creators turn fans into paying customers and rely less on brand partnerships and platforms for revenue.

The court document also revealed that MrBeast expects to bring in $700 million in revenue this year, about three times the $223 million Donaldson's businesses generated last year.

MrBeast's team did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

Donaldson is no stranger to this model, having launched the chocolate and snack brand Feastables, among other businesses.

His plans to expand into mobile gaming and beverages, among other details related to Donaldson's business, were outlined in a recent court filing tied to ongoing litigation from a lawsuit Donaldson filed against the company he partnered with for his virtual dining chain, MrBeast Burger.

Food and beverage products, in particular, have proven fruitful for influencers. YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI's beverage brand Prime surpassed $1.2 billion in annual sales in 2023, Bloomberg reported. And influencer Emma Chamberlain's drink brand, Chamberlain Coffee, recently raised a $4.6 million funding round, The Information reported.

Donaldson is YouTube's top creator, with 279 million subscribers. He earns money on YouTube from advertising, sponsorships, licensing, content syndication, and merch. He owns several YouTube channels, including Beast Philanthropy and MrBeast Gaming. He also runs an international dubbing studio, CreatorGlobal, which has helped him launch channels in Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic, among other languages.

Beyond YouTube, MrBeast's ventures include Feastables, the charity Beast Philanthropy; and a partnership with Amazon Prime for a reality competition series called "Beast Games."

Donaldson plans to monetize the forthcoming mobile game through a hybrid model that includes in-app purchases and advertising, according to the court filing. That model is common for mobile games.
