    There are much better options
    First, general thoughts: Might be good to use if your current color matches the pen, clean up for paint outside the grout lines is easy, says it will cover up to 130 feet for wider grout lines (didn't test this) but it will take lots more paint for porous grout. Use a grout sealer first if this is the case to avoid losing color thru absorption.Now, the not-so-pros: (see photos) actual color is lighter than cover of the cap, doesn't say what color or how many oz. are in pen anywhere on the pen (really?), paint flows unevenly on sanded grout, can't get within 1/2 inch of trim or in tricky spots so have to pour some out and use an artist paintbrush to fill in these gaps, expensive - $12 -when compared to Mapei UltraCare Grout Refresh ($15-$18) which is in an 8 oz squeeze bottle (covers up to 300 sf)and very easy to use. I run a line of paint and then use a brush to move the paint where I want it. The bottle top can be cut to allow a thin pour or a wide pour for different widths of the grout.

    After trying so many heavy duty grout cleaners, one with hydrochloric acid! ( even oven cleaner) to no avail, I tried these pens out of desperation. I have a very large living, dining room hall all tiled, and the grout lines were horrid. Doubtful at first, I tried a small area in a corner, and quickly decided this will work. It was slow going, so I used the pen to apply, wiped the color over the grout lines with a tough sponge, and mopped with a Swiffer type sweeper slightly dampened. Wiped off the tile easily, color stayed in gout lines Huge project done in a short amount of time, product easy to work with and very forgiving. Excellent results, I was so pleased I ordered two more just to have on hand. I am 66 years old, have bad knees, and a bad back, but the grout pens did a great job quickly, and the floor looks new.. I recommend you follow directions, I did it differently ( at my risk) and am well pleased with the results.

    Products works well, but several comments are warranted: the wide size(15 mm) is probably too wide for most grout lines,however using the widt edge or narrow edge is a perfect adjunct to the thinner pen (5 mm),I used the cream color to lighten my grout color and it did a fine job, but it has a yellowish cast,looks fine for me but it was a surprise, and as been mentioned by others the fine size nib wears fast on rough grout-contact amazon or company for replacement nibs..they told me they would replace..still waiting after a week.

    I've bought three of these now and ended up returning one. I find the colors are just not what I need. The lighter gray one has a blue tinge to it that looks strange. I just can't trust the color to be what I need so I'm over this idea.
    As far as use, they do what they are supposed to do. It's not easy to get the color just on the grout so I came along behind the application and wiped off the tile. Overall, the grout looks better than it did. Maybe my expectations are just too high.

    The grout pen seems to have a chamber for the paint, a hard foam applicator tip, and then a valve that connects the two, so that when pressure is applied on the tip, more paint flows into the foam tip. I encountered several problems with this design. The foam tip doesn't necessarily stay in the pen; paint can leak out during use. The foam tip is a very poor conductor of the paint - far worse than a brush - so the layer applied is think and uneven. Because the tip is so wide, I think I ended up with more paint on the shower tiles than covering the grout. And you can't get within 1/4" of a corner. Fortunately, clean up is very easy - just wipe with a damp paper towel. Lastly, unless you are working on the grout in the floor, paint just doesn't flow through the device. While working on the shower walls, I had to depress the pen tip against a paper towel on the floor to get more paint into the tip. Frankly, this would work better as a jar of paint with a small brush.

    It's been six weeks or so since application. The grout look does cleaner, except where it's already wearing off. Overall, I'd say this is appropriate only for short-term cosmetic "improvements". Wouldn't use again.

    So here’s the scoop- it’s easy enough to use and easy enough to clean.. in my opinion, a little too easy. If you wait about 4-6 hours or overnight and then clean the stain off your tile it will be fine. I also sealed my a sealer I got at a local hardware store. I can’t comment about the longevity as I did mine about two weeks ago. Sorry I forgot the pix. Also the clean is more like a “linen white” when it’s applied and in normal lighting. Also, I covered maybe 500-600 sq ft of tile -whatever that is in grouse lineage and I used 2.5 of the fat pens.

    This product is easy to use and probably works well. I have off white/cream/almond grout and purchased the beige pen, which unfortunately looks slightly yellow-ish next to my tile. Probably should have purchased the cream, but didn't see it. Also, bought the large size pen rather than several smaller ones, but the large pen comes with a large "tip", wider than my grout lines. So, I reordered smaller size pen in cream, it also looks yellowish next to my tile (I assume that what I received was the cream colored pen, there was not color name on the package.) So now I have ordered twice and not been able to use either one.
