Your continued support in our urgent call for the Government to appoint an Allergy Tsar as a champion for people living with allergies, has been incredible. Since launching our Open Letter one week ago, more than 2,500 of you have added your signatures, demanding urgent action from the next Government. Together we have made allergies a hot topic in this election, with radio and several articles and interviews published in the national press, sending a clear message to lawmakers, that it’s time for action. JackFowler and Megan McKenna have also used their voices to raise this important issue on behalf of the millions of people living with allergies. SUPPORTED by bereaved allergy families and leading voices - a coalition of doctors, lawyers, campaigners and food business leaders, the campaign is also backed by 20,000 people who have signed the Parliamentary Petition. We have come together to speak up for people with allergies and now we urge the next Government to do the same; appoint an Allergy Tsar to ensure people with allergies get the care they need. Thank you #NatashasArmy

A study from King's College London – the LEAP-Trio Study - has found that regularly feeding children peanuts from infancy to age five reduced the rate of peanut allergy in adolescence by 71%. These findings bring hope for the future; introducing peanuts early in a baby's diet could be the key to the long-term prevention of peanut allergies for future generations. Allergy UK welcomes these findings. Food allergies are on the rise and for far too long, the food allergic community along with Allergy UK, has yearned for better understanding and solutions. The results of the LEAP-trio study bring us closer to a future where food allergies and their impact on quality of life and mental health can be significantly reduced. Can you imagine a world where the fear of peanut allergies is a thing of the past? Do you have any questions? Feel apprehensive about introducing peanuts with a family history? Drop a 🥜 in the comments along with your questions if you’d like us to host a Q&A with a member of our clinical team over on Instagram to answer some of them. #TooBigToIgnore #ItsTimeToTakeAllergySeriously #Allergy #Allergies #Research #PeanutAllergy #LEAPStudy
