A big thank you to our incredible team for their dedication and outstanding contributions, and to our supportive community. Together, we’re setting new standards for sustainable hospitality!

Nieuw lid: Conscious Hotel Westerpark! 🎉 Wij zijn blij dat Conscious Hotels (locatie Westerpark) zich heeft aangesloten bij de Green Hotel Club! Het hotelconcept is ontstaan met duurzaamheid (Eco-Sexy, Big Smiles) als uitgangspunt en dit zie je terug in alles. Westerpark is bijvoorbeeld voor 100 procent elektrisch met een WKO (Warmte- en koudeopslag), het restaurant is 100% biologisch en 80% van de gerechten zijn vegetarisch en alle materialen in het hotel zijn gerecycled, tweedehands of gemaakt van duurzame materialen.  Een waardevolle toevoeging dus voor ons als club, welkom Jorik Heus

Dutch Hotel Award announced a winner! And it's not us.   Still, we are very proud to share the news. We loved being part of this competition, which brought different teams from our company together to share their knowledge and projects. We deep-dived into high tech, high touch – in the most sustainable way, of course – and challenged ourselves on how we could improve our guest experience in both areas!   A big shoutout to the champs of our Westerpark team: Jorik Heus, Moosa Azadmanesh, Alexandros Makrygiannis, Cristina Perles, Philip Herter and the support from our back of house team: Danice van Velzen, Jasmine van Denderen, Lotte van Oort, and Tom Huijben 🏆 We'd like to congratulate Flonk Hotels on winning the award, and thank Kasteel Kerckebosch for the strong competition, and challenging us!

Time to celebrate, we're going to Utrecht! 🥳 Yesterday, we told you guys about our newest addition to the family: the opening of the fifth Conscious hotel right in the city center of Utrecht at the Oudegracht. Our own crew got a little sneak peak beforehand. They were updated last Wednesday, in style! We celebrated with typical Utrecht 'domtorentjes' from Bakkerij Theo Blom at our Conscious and Hotel V & The Lobby locations. As you can see, the news was well received ;)

Utrecht is calling, Conscious is on its way! We're stepping into new territories — and not just any. In the spring of 2025, the fifth Conscious Hotel will open in the former pop temple Tivoli Oudegracht, known for hosting legendary concerts like Pearl Jam in 1992 and Prince's surprise show in 1998. This 46-room boutique hotel will open right in the middle of Utrecht’s city center, overlooking the city’s oldest canal. And in true Conscious style, we’re putting the eco next to sexy. We’re upgrading the building to Energy label A+, outfitting the interior with recycled and upcycled furniture, and serving exclusively vegetarian and organic products. All while preserving the historic charm of the building, like the stained-glass elements, and the monumental fireplaces in some of the rooms. Could it be... the most beautiful hotel in the world? 🎶 Adding this new hotel to our portfolio, is the next step in our ambitious growth journey. After onboarding NIPA Capital in 2022, and the acquisition of Hotel V & The Lobby in 2023, we’re moving towards our goal of reaching 2500 sustainable keys across Europe by 2030.
