Riot Games is an American video game developer, publisher, and esports tournament organizer based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in September 2006 by Brandon Beck (co-Founder) and Marc Merrill (co-Founder) to develop League of Legends, which is the most played PC game in the world. Riot Games also developed VALORANT, a free-to-play first-person tactical hero shooter that was released in June 2020.
