We have some new ice cream flavors for the hot summer! 🍌 From June 3, customers have enjoyed new SEVEN PREMIUM frozen products from Seven & i Group stores in Japan. What's more, these come with a special sustainable twist. The SEVEN PREMIUM assortment now includes a renewal product, the “Banana Ice Bar,” and the newly released “Waffle Cone Banana Milkshake.” What makes these unique is that we use Dole Food Company’s Mottainai Banana puree in both. Did you know that #Mottainai is a Japanese phrase conveying a sense of regret over waste? The Mottainai Bananas are non-standard, and usually discarded for various reasons, even though they are still good to eat. By pureeing them for our new products, customers can enjoy the natural taste of banana while helping reduce food waste. Promoted by Dole, we are proud to join the Mottainai project by repurposing these nonstandard bananas! #Sustainability #FoodWaste

Our private brand, shared among the Seven & i Group, has set a new record!📈 In FY2023, the cumulative sales of SEVEN PREMIUM products exceeded 15 trillion JPY (US $96 billion). We launched the line in May 2007, with 49 different products available through it. Last month, on the 17th anniversary of SEVEN PREMIUM, there were approximately 3,400 items available. We have involved our customers closely as we have expanded the range, listening to their feedback, and ensuring the SEVEN PREMIUM products make their daily lives richer, more enjoyable, and more convenient. We also focus on developing and improving existing products, with more than 300 items having annual sales of one billion JPY or more. SEVEN PREMIUM will continue to offer safe, reliable, healthy, and environmentally friendly products. We are committed to further growth by providing items that meet the needs of our customers and continue to delight them.
