Further, to achieve time bound action on quality of service (QoS) related isissuesthe Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) Friday introduced provisions for financial penalties for all services. For the first time, the Trai notified QoS benchmarks for 5G services as the technology was launched in October 2022 in India.
