How #AI powers the digital in-car experience: Digital assistants are becoming the central touchpoint in the car, with AI as the technological force behind it. How do machine learning and #ChatGPT make interaction with the car more intuitive, more personal and safer? 💬 “The goal with a voice-based assistant is to make dialogs appear as natural as possible and to cover a wide spectrum of topics and information”, says Kim M. Cedziwoda, Head of Digital Assistant at CARIAD. “To achieve that, the system uses latest natural language processing and accesses a multitude of data sources such as vehicle data and input from online sources.” One of the newest sources is ChatGPT, an AI-based chatbot. Automated driving functions for everyone – this is our common goal in the #Automated Driving Alliance with Bosch Mobility. Thanks to a #data-driven development approach, we managed to significantly shorten the go-to-market timelines of new functions – from the first line of code, to tests and validation, to the delivery of functions. In 2025, the first functions from the alliance will go into series production. They will offer drivers comprehensive assistance with the driving task, featuring #handsfree-driving on freeways and active lane-changing support. __ #WeAreCARIAD #ADAS #AutomatedDriving

Developing software defined vehicles for Volkswagen Group: In a new collaborative set-up called the SDV Hub, we are working closely together with AUDI AG and Volkswagen – as one team, with shared responsibilities and a joint definition of success: delivery of the two first software defined vehicles by #Audi and #Volkswagen.   With Artificial Intelligence set to revolutionize the driving experience and digital experience in cars, it will help to take #VWGroup’s success into the digital age.
