Fill a shaker with ice, and add all ingredients except half-wheel of orange. Shake vigorously. Strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice. Garnish with the orange.
Egg white is not optional
It does seem that she’s using regular Angostura bitters in the video, but Angostura does indeed make orange bitters as well, which I used and thought worked out quite well.
Using the egg white from a whole egg rather than 1 tsp makes the drink much smoother
Angostura bitters (as in the video) or "Angostura orange bitters" (is there such a thing)?
Twice at much egg white
I liked this overall, but I think I didn't make it sour enough! So I will try adding more lemon juice next time, or maybe less egg white, not sure. Someone else said to add 3 tsp egg white and I think my egg white quantity was higher than that.
Used 3 tsp of egg whites- came out frothy & phenomenal
Angostura is a brand so yes, it's Angostura orange bitters

Also mole bitters or Mexican chocolate bitters just elevates it to the next level
Egg white is not optional
Makes for a very sour drink not sweet at all. Very refreshing!
