I have lived in Mount Juliet for over 7 years. I have been married for 13 years to my husband Rob, we have three daughters, all in elementary school. I also run my own Permanent Makeup business for 6 years. Although life is constantly moving, I have decided to run, to fight for the safety of my children.

  • One thing we can all agree on is keeping our loved ones safe. The tragedy on March 27th, 2023 brought the issue of gun violence to our doorstep. We cannot let the fire for change go out. I believe that we can uphold our second amendment rights while still making it safer for our children and community. Which is why I am a strong supporter of the ERPO law and promoting proper gun safety/storage. By enacting these changes we are creating a safer future for our children.
  • I support bodily autonomy in every way. I believe the government should not be involved in the medical care of any one, including women. Women should be allowed to make choices that will affect their health and future. I will continue to support and fight for any legislation that gives rights back to the individual.
  • I believe that every child has the right to affordable, high quality education. Tennessee ranks among bottom ten states in the country for school funding, without proper funding our teachers are handicapped in providing the best education they possibly can. In Wilson County we love our educators and believe they should be allowed to teach without additional non-educational expectations placed on them. I want our educators to know that they are heard and supported as experienced teachers, so they can focus on the children.

I am passionate about gun safety laws. With both my children in public schools, the fear of them not coming home every day was brought too close to home with the Covenant shooting. I want to fight for a state that is safer for our children.

One of the first impactful events was the Columbine Shooting. I was 14 at the time, and it changed my world. I remember seeing the images from the school and feeling terrified about that happening again in my world. This event shaped how I would fight for this topic.
