Web Publishing (Wordpress)
WordPress Web Publishing is a flexible environment for building websites and blogs. It makes it easy to create blog posts and web pages, customize the design, add navigation menus, and more.
NYU Wikis
NYU Wikis is a web-based tool that allows individuals to edit shared pages, or wikis, for collaboration in research, instruction, and academic-related activities. Each wiki space, including your own personal space, is its own content area that can be limited to invited participants or open to all. NYU Wikis supports multimedia embedding, PDF, and Microsoft Office document attachments, and links to other services like NYU Drive, NYU Web Publishing, and NYU Stream.
NYU Sites (Google)
NYU Sites (Google), part of NYU Google Apps for Education, provides collaborative space for web content creation that is easy to use, update, access and share.
Eduation Media Services and Multimedia Production
The Digital Studio provides instructional media and technology specialists to assist instructors through the content creation process and application of video vignettes (around 3-5 minutes) to support teaching and learning. The modules are produced in the Digital Studio, located on the 5th floor of Bobst Library in New York, the Center for Digital Scholarship in the NYU Abu Dhabi Library in Abu Dhabi, and in the NYU Florence Digital Studio in Florence.
Audio Capture & Podcasting
Audio Capture & Podcasting services allows for transfering audio into digital files from vinyl records, cassettes, CDs or digital audio tape (DAT). Audio can be edited and encoded into a variety of formats including MP3, AIFF, WAV and more.
Live Audio & Video Capture
Live Audio & Video Capture services will enable you to record voiceovers, capture webcam video, and create screen recordings from NYU Stream.
Video Editing & Digitization
Video Editing & Digitization offers editing on dual-screen HD monitors using software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro X. It also facilitates the digitization of various physical formats, from VHS tapes and DVDs to Blu-ray Discs and MiniDV tapes.
Scanning
Scanning services involves large-format flatbed scanners, slide scanners, and page-feeder stations for images, photos, and documents. Additionally, support is available for uploading scanned content to platforms like NYU Classes, NYU Web Publishing, and NYU Wikis.
Media Streaming and Sharing (NYU Stream)
NYU Stream, NYU's streaming service, provides NYU students, faculty, and staff with an assortment of media tools that facilitate collaborative communications and content sharing, as well as a repository to store your audio, video, and images files.
