Confirmed: Antoine Frisch to leave Munster for Toulon this summer

Antoine Frisch has been a key player for Munster since his arrival last season.

Munster have confirmed that centre Antoine Frisch will join Toulon in the summer.

The Frenchman joined the southern province ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and was a key player en route to Munster’s URC success last season.

However, the 27-year-old, who is Irish qualified, has been tempted back to the country of his birth after being called up to the France squad by Fabien Galthie during the recent Six Nations.

Frisch has made 39 appearances for Munster, scoring nine tries, and formed a strong centre partnership with Kiwi Alex Nankivell this season.

Munster currently lead the URC table with one round of regular season matches to be played.

The Frenchman will join up with Toulon in the summer, with the French club currently fourth in the Top 14 table.
