Antoine Frisch has recovered in time to take his place in Munster’s midfield for tomorrow’s URC quarter-final against Ospreys (Thomond Park, 7.35).

The France-bound centre’s inclusion is one of three changes to the starting XV that beat Ulster last Saturday evening, with Gavin Coombes and John Hodnett named to start with Peter O’Mahony in the back-row.

Their inclusion means Jack O’Donoghue and Alex Kendellen drop to the bench, with the injured Rory Scannell making way for Frisch who missed the Ulster game.

With Joey Carbery ruled out for the season, Graham Rowntree has named a 5/3 split of forwards and backs on his bench with Tony Butler providing cover for Jack Crowley.

Munster have also lost Thomas Ahern, but there’s been more good news on the injury front with Diarmuid Barron back on the bench after a long lay-off.

Simon Zebo, Calvin Nash and Shane Daly form the back-three, with Seán O’Brien shifting to No 12 to accommodate Frisch and Crowley partnering Craig Casey at half-back.

Up front, the front-row of Jeremy Loughman, Niall Scannell and Stephen Archer is unchanged, while captain Tadhg Beirne partners RG Snyman in the second-row.

John Ryan continues to cover the loosehead slot after an effective performance off the bench last week, while Conor Murray and Mike Haley are the backline replacements.

The Ospreys, meanwhile, have made one change to their side with out-half Dan Edwards ruled out with injury.

Owen Williams comes in at No 10, with Morgan Morse and Luke Davies coming on to the Welsh side's bench.
