On the eve of every match he plays, Craig Casey takes out his phone and watches clips from the back catalogues of three players.

Last Saturday, he watched as two of them – Antoine Dupont and Jamison Gibson-Park – went head-to-head, while he got to see Aaron Smith in person while watching Ireland versus New Zealand games as a member of Andy Farrell’s wider squad.
