The Terrace, Foxrock, Dublin 18 Asking price: €2.2m Agent: Sherry FitzGerald

The final three houses at The Terrace in Foxrock are now for sale. The luxury scheme of just eight red-brick homes by Carlson Homes is located on the corner of Torquay Road and Westminster Road, with village life right on the doorstep.

Designed by Karol O’Mahony Architects, the 2,868 sq ft properties are unlike anything else on the market. They come with a price-tag of €2m but in return, new homeowners will have a New York-style lift in their four-storey property that goes from the ground to top floor in eight seconds.

The spec is high, with the best example being the kitchens that have been designed by Jonathan Williams to create the centrepiece of the house. The hand-painted units are complemented by stone worktops, with Neff appliances included. A three-part concertina sliding door opens out to the tiered garden and there is balcony on the third floor with composite decking.

The four bedrooms are on the top floors, with an entire level dedicated to the master. For parking, there is a private two-car garage behind electric gates.

Viewings are being held tomorrow by appointment through Sherry FitzGerald in Foxrock (01) 289 4386.
