Potential post-lambing problems to keep an eye on

Lambing was long and tiring but in some ways it’s the easy part as focus turns to lamb thrive – and keeping disease at bay

Lambing is coming to an end, with less than a handful left to lamb. It has been a challenging spring, with poor weather conditions making life difficult for both man and sheep. I’m glad to be on the other side of it.

We ran into some issues with foxes earlier on but thankfully this stopped. Many neighbours — and farmers all around the country — seem to be having more trouble with foxes this year than other years.
