Factories told to stop ‘unacceptable’ cuts after latest 30-40c/kg drop

Factories were accused of “scaremongering” and being “unwilling to pay a fair price” as another 30-40c/kg was cut off lamb quotes yesterday.

“The demand is there, and supplies remain tight despite factory scaremongering,” said ICSA sheep chair Willie Shaw.
