Little festive cheer for farmers as lamb quotes unchanged

No movement on cull prices either

The expectation that sheep farmers might get a Christmas box from factories in the form of a price lift for lamb to €7.00/kg seems ill-founded, as quotes yesterday remained unchanged from last week.

The spread of base quotes on our table continue to range from €6.35+20c/kg quality assurance at the two Irish Country Meats plants to €6.50+10c/kg QA at Kildare Chilling.
