Quotes remained steady yesterday, with one factory man likening them to the results in the Euro elections here: “Nothing has changed.”

Like the greater Irish voting public, your typical Irish sheep farmer prefers stability when it comes to what really matters — price. Especially when that stability involves base quotes for lamb ranging from €8.80-8.90/kg and hogget at €8.00/kg.
