Preparation for lambing is in full swing. I generally get all non-sheep-related jobs done before all hell breaks loose here in mid-March.
The fields I’ve held up since October are looking well and I will put out about 25kg/ac of protected urea to get them going when the weather conditions allow. Soil is still saturated so spreading slurry and fertiliser is still not possible.
