Alan and Simon O’Connor had problems with joint ill early on in lambing on their mixed hill and lowland sheep enterprise near the Sugarloaf Mountain in Co Wicklow.
Most cases didn’t present for a number of days post-turnout, which required rehousing of some and prompt treatment.
