Quotes for lamb are down, with cull ewes generally unchanged.
The factory representatives I spoke to yesterday varied in tone from the apologetic to the hard as they each in their own way explained why their quotes for lamb were reduced.
The apologetic went a bit like this: “Trade is gone sticky, less lively than it has been. Ewes are tight enough, though.”
