With Valentine’s Day almost upon us there is sure to be a run on cards, flowers and chocolates as the emphasis in our lives switches to the wonder of those two inexplicable and sometimes unexpected things, love and romance.
For those with a partner there is the expectation of something special; for those without a partner there is the opportunity, often anonymously, to send a card or a gift to someone you secretly fancy in the hope they may figure out who their admirer is and consider a response.
