Up to €5,000 interim payment to be paid to ACRES farmers

Farmers in ACRES who have not received payments todate will receive interim payments of up to €5,000 in the coming weeks.
The announcement comes after the Minister was forced to intervene after payments under the Government’s flagship environmental scheme were delayed before Christmas. At the time the Minister announced that farmers would be paid in February.
