Farm organisations are set to put pressure on the Department to ringfence clawbacks from ACRES payments within the scheme and not take them from upcoming ANC payments.

A meeting of the farm organisations and the Department of Agriculture on the Farmers’ Charter is expected to take place today and it’s expected that farm organisations will be pushing for any clawback of ACRES payments to be only taken from future ACRES payments.
