Expression of Interest for Tranche 2 of ACRES is now open, with 4,000 places up for grabs following a €40m funding boost as part of Budget 2024.
Advisors warn this will be nowhere near enough to meet farmer demand, with up to 20,000 farmers waiting in the wings to submit their application.
