Hundreds of farmers could lose out on their full ACRES commonage payment this year, if others on the commonage cut turf or don’t adhere to necessary stocking rates.
Farmers with commonage will only receive the full rates of payment if the entire commonage meets the required habitat management levels, which are based on a scorecard.
