How will big payments be capped in the new CAP?

The new CAP rules effectively means that nobody can receive a payment greater than €66k in Ireland.

The new CAP will see Ireland apply degressive capping on direct payments under the strictest application of the provisions in the CAP Regulations.

The new rules will see the BISS payment effectively capped at €66,000. Previously Ireland applied a 100% capping limit on all BPS payments in excess of €150,000.
