The Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers (CIS-YF) will replace the Young Farmers Scheme in the new CAP.
In order to help address the issue of an ageing farming population in Ireland and to attract young farmers into the sector, the scheme will provide some €178m to young farmers from 2023 to 2027.
