Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Liam Gallagher at Thomond Park: Everything you need to know from stage times to parking

Snow Patrol, Kingfishr and Pillow Queens are due to perform on Friday, July 12, with Paolo Nutini, CMAT, and Brógeal playing on Saturday, July 13, and Liam Gallagher and the Mary Wallopers performing on the last day - Sunday, July 14.

Here is everything you need to know before you head to Limerick for the summer gigs.

What to wear and bring?

The concerts will take place during rain, hail or shine, therefore it is recommended to dress for the Irish weather accordingly and check the forecast.

Wellies, boots, runners, layers, raincoats, ponchos and suncream are all good ideas.

Meanwhile, you cannot bring glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie stickers, flares, flags or banners larger than A3, professional cameras and audio recording equipment.

The public are also advised not to bring bags larger than A4 as it might cause delays or result in the refused entry. There are also no storage facilities on site.

How to get there?

You can reach Thomond Park Stadium by train, bus or car.

Irish Rail provides links to Limerick City from all over the country, while Bus Éireann operates routes 302, 303, and 306.

Door opening times and queueing

The gates open at 5pm, with shows kicking off at 6pm, however attendees are urged to be at the venue 45 minutes before the show starts.

Organisers have also advised concertgoers not to queue or camp before the gates are open.

Queueing in streets around the stadium will cause disruption to residents of the area, therefore the organisers appeal to the public to respect the local community, not to litter and be mindful of parking.

Parking

There is limited concert car parking available which must be booked in advance through Evntz app as towing will be in operation in the case of illegal parking.

The public is advised to plan and book their return travel arrangements in advance allowing two hours of travel time to and from the venue.

However, participants are also encouraged to walk and use public transport or private coach services as traffic and parking delays are inevitable.

There is no transport to or from the venue operated by the promoters.

Meanwhile, accessible ticket holders do not need to contact the organisers as they will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking and drop-off locations.

All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.

How to enter the venue?

There are two entrances to the concert side.

Red and green entrances for the East Stand, Gold Circle, Pitch, and Premium are off Knockalisheen Road.

Whereas, the blue entrance for the west stand is on Cratloe Road.

Participants need to enter the venue through the gate they have detailed on their ticket.

The Ticketmaster box office will be located at the junction of Cratloe Road and Knockalisheen Road.

Coming with children?

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian over 25 at all times as strict age monitoring is in place.

Unaccompanied children will be refused entry without a refund.

While you're inside the venue

Participants are urged not to rush to exits straight after the show ends.

There are also no re-admissions to the concerts, therefore if you leave, there is no re-entry.
