Well over a quarter of Irish CEOs do not believe that their own business will be viable in a decade without radical change, despite optimism about the wider economy.

Financial services firm PwC’s 2024 Irish CEO Survey found 28pc of CEOs believe factors including technological change and climate pressures will undermine the viability of their businesses, without reinvention. Globally the numbers are even more stark, with 45pc of corporate bosses fearing for their firms’ viability.
