a wonderful experience

Reviewed 14 Oct 2015
well, this was the first time i went, wasnt expecting much due to bad reviews but i had a really pleasant experience. the room was very nice, clean, big bed (super king, i believe) the room is equipped with a smart tv, thus you can log into your netflix account or whatever else. we had breakfast and lunch included (due to paying more) and there are no complaints about either of those meals. staff is EXTREMELY nice, anything we asked for they very willingly tried to do. Only down side was that we had no microwave in our room, theyre more like flats than hotel rooms, so we expected that since we had a bunch of food due to lack of spending money.
There are pools, the main one is non-heated, there's one jacuzzi style that's heated, and a kiddie pool. sand volleyball court, tennis courts, pool side bar, sauna...
for those who havent been to brasilia, it is far from the city center, so be prepared to use Uber (way better than taxis, an usually a lot cheaper). there is room service and also a small convenience store in the lobby.
Anyway, it was an overall great experience.

I spent the weekend at Nobile Lakeside, the room has a good size, the bathroom is small, and the common areas of the building are under renovation. The floor of the room is an old carpet with pretty gruesome aspect. Deserves urgent reform.
The breakfast is good.
The pool area also needs reform.

I stayed at Lakeside Resort in Brasilia and the experience was not the best I've ever had. Rooms were not cleaned in a daily basis, the staff did not provide basic things like soap, shampoo and toilet paper, unless requested (with the usual delay you will get used to after a couple of days...). Want to complain? Forget. The hotel has no manager and reception may be unable to find a swift solution...

Besides it is far from anything else. No car? Prepare to spend no less than US$ 20 by cab (and the same amount to go back!) every time you decide to leave Lakeside. Walking? Not a chance. There are no sidewalks (See at Google Street View) and you must walk for over 2 km in the middle of the street to reach the city.

Need to buy something and do not want to leave the hotel? You will have to pay 200% more at the small store near reception. Depending on what you are buying and how often you do it, you better get a cab to any north wing supermarket.

The fitness centre is C+. Swimming pool is great. The room is clean (when the cleaning lady does not forget about it) and it is spacious. If you like boats and water sports, may be a nice place.

Room tip: Run away from rooms with the boat parking view.

I spent 5 days at this dingy and dirty hotel for business. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and is extremely worn out. The hallways are not well light and the carpets are ripped and heavily stained. The rooms are quite large, but disgusting. There were little bugs crawling on the desk, the bed had no blanket, and the Ethernet did not work. The window did not shut all the way. However, the worse was the shower which had mold spots splattered throughout. The AC also shut off as soon as you left the room. Staff was somewhat nice, but the place is NOT a resort nor is it a decent hotel. Youth hostels are cleaner. The pool area was equally old and gross. My only advice is to run away from this place...unless you're broke or your work pays for you to stay here.

Room tip: My room looked at garbage cans. There is no real lake view.

Í should say this is a good price for the infrastructure, service, breakfast and quite location. It's a bit far from the city centre but it's great for leisure! There is also gym, sauna, heated pool and tennis court. The room is nice and bed really comfy and cozy, however the bathroom has a moldy tiles.

I called the hotel (reception and reservation) in advance to ensure a crib in the room. Needless to say they forgot to put one and could not arrange for the crib because there was no housekeeping during the evening (!!!). My 3 month baby had to sleep in a bed for the night.
On the top of that, our room was near the boat garage, where people started talking very early in the morning...Could not sleep from 7 am...
The Front Desk Manager was extremely kind in the next morning and managed to change our room and got us a crib. However, the bad impression of the hotel was difficult to be undone: very old, full of stains carpet on the corridors, the hotel needs desperately a refurbishment.
The room itself was ok, spacious and with a nice flat screen TV. But the quality of the bed sheets and towels were really bad.
Breakfast was also below average, and the quality of the food was below standard.
Also, if you are driving, be prepared to take sometime looking for a parking space, as their parking lot is always packed...
I can say the only good thing here is the staff hospitality and kindness...everything else needs a huge improvement.

Room tip: Ask them for a room viewing the court yard, not the boat garage...
