Absolutely loved it. Very spacious rooms. And kept clean very regularly. All staff were really polite and friendly. Speedy service for food and drinks. I can see why this place has many many returning customers. We shall be back and I hope Alan and Lorraine are there 👍
Arrived home after a lovely stay at Lagoon would highly recommend.
* ROOMS are spacious, they’re basic but more or less have everything you need for a self catering apartment, we stayed for 10 nights we had towels changed every other day but room only swept and mopped / sheets changed once, would of liked to of had a brush/dustpan as after a beach day we then had 5 days left and nothing to sweep sand up with, meaning sand on feet getting on the bed etc and was slightly annoying.
Upon arrival we found basin to only have hot water and no cold for brushing teeth, we mentioned this (when was asked if all ok) and straight away staff arranged maintenance to see to this and brand new tap was fitted which we was really pleased with.
Air conditioning was chargeable which personally we’ve never had to do before but that was fine as we got the holiday/hotel at amazing price.
Safe was free which was great bonus.
*POOL AREA - Fabulous never have I ever NOT had to fight for sun beds we could wake up at any point of the day and guaranteed to get beds for all 4 of us, Pool area is spotless and can see chap cleaning it every night. Pool bar has great menu staff are lovely 5* service from all, Food was always of good standard and reasonably priced.
Really enjoyed our holiday here and 100% would return.
We came here this year because all 12 of us wanted to try some where new and all of the staff and entertainment were great and Dennis and Maria were happy to help you around the pool and snack bar area also the apartments and facilities were clean and the entertainment consisted of bingo, pop quiz and karaoke and they were all entertaining and were always very popular and we highly recommend this hotel and pool bar also other staff members such as Spiros and Dina were happy to help in reception if it is closed you can speak to Spiros to open the reception if you need to access the FREE safety deposit boxes
I stayed at lagoon hotel with my family of 5 for 10 nights at the end of July to the start of august and from start to finish the whole hotel and the vibe it gives you is great the staff are so friendly you get to know them so easy and they become your best pals at the end. the room was good it was clean nice view of the pool the location is brilliant the beach is on the doorstep same with all the restaurants and bars.Also there is entertainment is great every night with karaoke and bingo and quizzes.I can’t wait to come back in September to see all the happy faces of lagoon hotel!
First of all the rooms. We had a studio which had a bedroom bathroom and small kitchen which was big enough for the 2 of us but the room and kitchen was very dark. The balcony over looked a small garden which over looked a overgrown wasteland and in the garden was loads of sewage drains (see pics)
The pool area was ok clean pool and plenty of sun beds.
Now the worst bit because of being disabled we used the bar area to eat in after being there for a week we went in at night and ordered garlic bread fried squid my wife had gyro plate and I had spaghetti bolognese, the girl who was serving left me a spoon and knife to eat it with them left. We could not see where she had gone. A while later she fetched food another table and stood talking to them and telling them different ways of saying things in Greek. As she left I shouted excuse me twice and my wife did as well and was ignored. She went and got her phone and went back to the other table to give them another Greek lesson.
Now the best bit, when she did come back the spaghetti was now cold I was offered another but refused because of the rest of the meal. My wife’s meal was dry and the pitta bread was rock hard. When we told her she just shrugged her shoulders when I asked her what was that supposed to mean she said what do want me to do, I said an apology would be good, she said you have eaten here before and it was good. Also the fried squid seemed frozen not fresh and very greasy.
When I said I was going to post a review on the web she started to shout aggressively to someone in Greek but I understood the words web site.
