I’ve been to Cuba about 10 times and this was my second time at this resort and upon getting off the bus, I knew I had made the right choice to return.

The resort is beautiful with well maintained landscaping and great ocean views. The majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Leidys Ruiz Montano the Customer Service Manager is very passionate about the hotel and making sure guests have a great experience.

It’s easy to nit pick about buffet food and drink mix not being available, but that’s everywhere in Cuba right now. It’s not the Hotel or the staff’s fault. On the things within their control, everyone is always ready to accommodate you and make sure you have a good vacation. Take the time to talk to people, embrace the culture, be humble and enjoy the moment.

Ultimately, you control your experience, if you can focus on all of the positives that this resort has to offer, you will have the most amazing vacation there.

I look forward on going back with my family in October.

This resort is very beautiful and well maintained. The food was typical Cuban, pasta was good, they had salad, fish was awesome. We had two amazing servers in the buffet Claudia and Richard. They went over and about everyday for us. Our maid was awesome too. If you are going with kids I didn’t find the entertainment very good. But for a quiet relaxing stay this is your place.

I have travelled to Cuba 4 times and have been to many resorts over the last 30 years. The hotel and front line staff were good and very helpful but management was horrible. We could not get in our room due to a malfunctioning lock without the help of housekeeping or a lock tech during the first 5 days. This did not happen once a day but at least 5 times a day with reassurance that the lock is fine. When I went to the front desk for the 10th time to ask for help I was totally dismissed and told this is a guest services issue. I tried to explain that I need help that this issue is not getting resolved... I was told to go away and sit down someone from guest services would talk to me. No on ever came. My daughter who’s room was next to mine was also having issues with her door lock. She came to the front desk also when I was waiting for guest services and was also Dismissed no one ever came to help us we waited 45 minutes. My daughter was able to get a bell boy to help.. he had a technician take the locks right off. 3 hours later on the 5 th day I was given a new room the bell boy made this happen not front desk or guest services. I am so very disappointed in the management these type of issues should be dealt with right away. I will never travel to this resort again. This was a very frustrating and upsetting week.
