This was our first trip to Honolulu and it couldn’t have worked out better. Although the Illikai is one of the first hotels built along Waikiki Beach it well maintained and operated. Our suite was perfect for our stay and we were close to anything and everything we needed. The beach was close, restaurants were excellent. The Pesca offered a beautiful view and had all day happy hours and some really reasonable lunch specials. Worth the long ride to the top. The staff at the Shell Vacation Club went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took care of anything we asked for. Kirsten and Carolina were two of the friendly names I remember but all the staff just really seemed to enjoy making our vacation special.

The resorts is beautiful with private access to beach. Centrally located to access city or private transportation. Landscaping and common area are well kept. The onsite restaurants offer a wide range selection. Staff at checkin were cordial and attentive. Offered great tips for the short trip which made it extremely pleasant and enjoyable.

Very nice place. Nice pools and great location. Bus stop right in front of the place. Great happy hour on the top floor, Only complaint was fried foods at Cinnamons which were way overcooked, Highly recommend for a good locatiom.
