We booked this hotel for our son’s graduation from UCSD and wish we had discovered this place when he was a freshman. The hotel is extremely convenient as it’s located next to the highway and is a 10 min drive to campus and easy access to many places. Torrey Pines and the beaches are also nearby.

The staff are friendly and kudos to the super breakfast crew who greet you with cheerful smiles as they serve you breakfast. Coffee is excellent, there’s a good selection for breakfast including fruit. Enjoyed having breakfast by the pool. And it was an even nicer surprise to discover evening refreshments incl wine and beer. Definitely wish we found this place earlier. We know where we will be staying next time we are in the area!

We stayed for 4 days. My husband had a hip operation and we needed a place that was close to the hospital. I felt very safe. The staff was super. The meals breakfast and dinner were very good. The room was mostly clean. Because of the covid restrictions we did not have our room cleaned everyday and had to dump our own trash but I think that is every hotel these days. Our overall stay was nice.

The staff here shines brightly! They do help one feel welcome. The ladies at night go the extra mile to ensure you have what you need. I am very happy to have been a guest at this hotel. The only negative mark is the free breakfast. In a word, it was terrible. The service and the people were outstanding! It is too bad that they had such bad food to serve. We will come back one day and try them again.
